Milk of Lime Station

Consists of Lime slacker, Lime Clarifier with Grit remover and MOL Storage Tanks.

The Lime Slacker is a horizontal cylindrical type rotary drum with peddles in the inner surface and for pushing forward the sand, stones/pebbles etc., and ultimately from the lime slacker outlet.

The Milk of Lime coming out from slacker feeds into the classifier, where lime grit is thrown out.

The Milk of lime at required boume is stored in the tanks with stirrers, for maturation before using.
